Am I A Good Candidate For JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC?

Generally speaking, JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC is available for clients 21 and over. However, if you have any severe allergies or lidocaine allergies, this particular product will not work for you. Additionally, if you have experienced previous issues with hyaluronic acid fillers, you should avoid these injections.

What Happens During My JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC Procedure?

Next, the area will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared with alcohol or antiseptic, and the practitioner may use a pen to mark out the areas being injected. To ensure your comfort, the practitioner will wait a few minutes after making the first injection to allow the lidocaine to take effect before injecting small amounts of JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC into the area until the desired appearance is achieved.

If you experience discomfort during the procedure, the lidocaine in the injection will help to subdue it. Additionally, if desired, you can apply an additional topical numbing agent to the injected area to minimize further pain.
